I struggled with this for most of the day and it just didnt seem to work. Turns out it was my fault and when I run the program properly it does exactly what I wanted. Ive been seriously out of disk space for months and didnt know why. Turns out Dropbox is the culprit. My settings on Dropbox made it load everything on dropbox onto my hard drive as soon as I booted up. My hard drive was full and I didnt know why. With Disk Space I could finally see it. 400 GB of data being loaded on my computer. So I turned off automatic syncing and suddenly, my computer is running great. This was worth the price to find out what the problem was.

Ditto with external storage. Initial Data Collection is faster than I expected — I had 4TB. Thereafter updates are very quick. After updating, click on HOME FOLDERS and you have a beautiful, drill down summary of how data is allocated on your hard drive/external drives. Kudos for a simple app that delivers useful data.

EVERY TIME it is opened it hounds you to give it a rating….so here it is, dosn’t even deserve the one star I gave it. Don’t give a crap if it works or it doesn’t….IT IS RATINGS HUNGRY AND THAT MAKES IT WORTHLESS!!!!!

I couldn’t figure out why the contents of my hard drive added up to 70gb, but the total size of the folder was 110gb. Turns out my backups were taking up 40gb of storage but the folder size was only 5gb. This app revealed the problem. Even applecare support could not figure out why this was happening. It is a must download.

Free version gives virtually no useful info

Wonderful app! This is informative and very lightweight. It opens and displays what I need within 3 seconds. And I like how I can sort the disks by name, refresh, and go directly to Disk Utility.

I really like the ability to see my hard drives, external drives, usb drives, and network drives all at once. The display of home folders is great and the sizes are easy to see and sortable. Its much easier than a bunch of info windows all over my screen. The new features including drill down, resizing, fullscreen, eject removable drives, and right click open in finder are great! Nice Job!!!

Perfect! Great way to view disk drives and see if they are running out of space. Love the single click eject for USB drives and Network drives. You can even easily and quickly drill down into your subfolders in your home directory to see which folders are taking up the most space. Great app! Easy to use and great user interface!

Dosn’t provide information beyond what OS provides, and it’s slow. Free is good price, but even then, what’s the point?

There were about 200GB of files that my iMAC classified as “OTHERS" that I had no idea what they were. With this app, it identified them being a recovery folder from my Yahoo Mail that was taking up all this space. Thanks for helping me reclaim my disk space.

Great little program, easy to use and very useful

Great app! The interface is very intuitive, well organized, and easy to understand. Within a minute I had found what had eaten nearly 200GB of storage space. Turns out, it was a couple of steam games I didn’t even know were installed. See the screenshots of the app. You click on the folder to enter it, and it shows where the biggest stuff is hiding within that folder. Drill down a bit, and you can find your space hogs. Highly recommend if you’re running a little dry on space.
